FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dundas, ON - Today, the Hon. Erin O’Toole, Leader of Canada’s Conservatives, called on Canadians to ensure that Justin Trudeau isn’t rewarded for calling a $600-million election in the middle of a pandemic.

“To Canadians who are fearful, angry, and feeling let down, let me say this: I get it,” said O’Toole. “My driving purpose is to build a Canada that works for all of us. A Canada of respect. A Canada of hard work. A Canada of opportunity. A Canada where we’re not ashamed to fly our flag or express our pride.”

On day one, a Conservative government will implement Canada’s Recovery Plan to get the country back on track and leave no Canadian behind. The plan will secure jobs, bring in tough new anti-corruption laws, deliver a mental health action plan, secure Canadian-made medical supplies, and balance the budget over the next decade.

“If you are tired of being stuck with higher prices, if you are concerned about massive government debt being left to your kids – you have a voice, you have a chance, you have a vote,” added O’Toole. “You need to do the one thing that Justin Trudeau doesn’t want you to do - and that is to vote Conservative on Monday.”

Voting Conservative is the only way to stop Mr. Trudeau from gaining even more power. It is the only way to get the change Canadians so desperately need.
